A Flying Teddy Bear Story: First Airplane Flight
Her pink soft teddy bear from Santa on her first Christmas, wearing it’s rainbow shirt, rainbows, a symbol her family uses in reference to part of her middle name, bounces along under the little girl’s arm as she is carried by her big brother down the runway to their plane. The little girl brings her teddy bear this time for companionship, as she is old enough now to be a little nervous flying on the big loud plane. She has to travel yearly for a week to a doctor that researches her rare disease. Her teddy bear looks out the window at the clouds as they fly along being hugged all the while. The teddy bear has imprints of sweaty hands as the girl squeezed it tight during take off and has yet to let go completely. The little girl dreading all the tests she will have to take during her visit to the hospital, yet thinking how nice it will be that she has her teddy bear this time to go along with her mommy and daddy to make her feel better. She smiles a bit too, thinking of how her twin sisters can make her teddy bear talk.
