Care Bears Are Still A Popular Teddy Bear Collectible
The Care Bears came out in the 80′s when my children were small. The original Care Bears were the Bedtime Bear, the Birthday Bear, the Cheer Bear, the Friend Bear, the Funshine Bear, the Good Luck bear, the Grumpy
Bear, the Love-a-lot Bear, the Tenderheart Bear, and the Wish Bear. They made movies about them and you could buy all kinds of accessories for them. Cousins were created to go with them also.
My grown children still have their bears and they are in pretty good condition. Who would believe that at some
online auctions these bears are selling for 60.00 plus. Recently, the Carebears are back on the market and new
movies have been made to go along with them. It would be a good hobby to start your own vintage collection
of Care Bears if you were ever a fan of these cuddly bears. It would also start you remembering and dreaming of
sliding on rainbows and winning against Professor Coldheart. Yes, they even had their own TV show.
If you are thinking about starting a collection of the original Care Bears, they can still sometimes be found at
yard sales and thrift shops. There are always the online auction sites as well. Happy hunting!
